International Teaching and Consultancy Experience; 

January 2014 – present; Manchester Metropolitan University (MMU); Associate Lecturer teaching 4 groups of final year students at level 6; Competitive Marketing Strategies, CMI Apprenticeship Degree, Strategic Tourism Management, and ICE (Innovation, Creativity and Entrepreneurship). During 2011 – 2017 overseas assignments with The Savoy Educational Trust in Albania, Bulgaria, Bosnia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Macedonia, Hungary, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovenia and Ukraine in partnership with MMU and La Fondation Pour la Formation Hôtelière running seminars for local SME’s and educationists. Content of seminars include; entrepreneurship, quality management, marketing, business ethics, sustainability, operational case studies and customer care.

Barsby Associates has held preferred consultancy status by WRAP Cymru – providing consultancy to hotels, farm shops, food manufacturers, pubs, tea rooms and restaurants to identify and reduce/eliminate waste, assist with grant applications and recommend improved practices.
